Ce sont des noms qui signifient quelque chose uniquement en conjonction avec des verbes. C'est pourquoi la richesse est si dangereuse: si vous ne faites pas attention, vous pouvez facilement vous retrouver avec un garage plein de noms.

La peur veut que nous devenions obsédés par un événement ou une personne à l'avenir, un an, un mois, même un jour. Il veut également que nous regardions en arrière non pas sur nos succès, mais nos courts-réseaux et nos échecs. La peur des pertes, c'est l'adhérence lorsque nous restons dans le maintenant.

C'est confiant que je suis aimé. Que j'ai toujours été. Que je serai toujours. Je n'ai rien à faire. Je n'ai rien à prouver, à réaliser quoi que ce soit, ou à accomplir une chose de plus. Cela, exactement comme je suis, je suis totalement accepté, pardonné, et que je ne pourrais rien faire pour perdre cette acceptation.

Nous voulons tous faire une différence, vivre en paix, avoir de la joie chaque matin que nous vivons cette journée et voyons ce qu'il apporte.

Vous pouvez vivre dans une grande maison, conduire une belle voiture, faire des vacances exotiques et toujours être vide à l'intérieur, paralysé de peur et d'effroi.

Je crois que Dieu est avec vous, qu'il y a une présence. Je crois que ce Dieu est pour vous. Je ne pense pas que l'univers est un endroit froid et mort qui est indifférent.

Mon expérience en tant que pasteur est que beaucoup de gens ont des images vraiment toxiques, dangereuses et psychologiquement dévastatrices de Dieu dans leur tête, des images d'un Dieu qui n'est pas bon.

Pour le répéter, la vie éternelle, c'est moins une sorte de temps qui commence quand nous mourons, et plus d'une qualité et d'une vitalité de la vie maintenant en lien avec Dieu. La vie éternelle ne commence pas à la mort; ça commence maintenant. Il ne s'agit pas d'une vie qui commence à la mort; Il s'agit de vivre le genre de vie maintenant qui peut endurer et survivre même la mort.

Je suis très à l'aise dans une pièce avec des milliers de personnes.
