In the settings after the 1964 revolution, in the history of Brazil, an enveloping plot of characters -including the flight to Italy and the subsequent return to Brazil. Nicolle, a girl with a strong personality, falls in love with the wealthy businessman Douglas, a patron of the military government and an ally of shadowy spiritual entities. Douglas, a freeloader, is married to Gorete, but has an affair with Nicolle with whom he ends up having three children. The set up worsens. Nicolle, pregnant with her third child, discovers Douglas's lies, who steals his other two children. Rossiani, Nicolle's sister, sees her husband Tomás disappear, a pacifist opponent of the regime, probably kidnapped by the military after the invasion of the place. Trauma and misfortune for all. In the midst of so much pain, Nicolle escapes from the dangerous Douglas. She is only waiting for her third child, Marcello, to be born so that she can secretly flee the country with Rossiani. The sisters, as well as the baby, go to Italy and take refuge in their parents' vineyards in the hope that time will heal their painful wounds. The situation in Italy, however, is not so easy. After a while, everyone returns to Brazil, each soul will search for the root of their sufferings and that is where a new story begins again. In this novel, once again the Schellida´s spirit, through the psychography of Eliana Machado Coelho, gives us a text full of teachings and emotions, showing us that our life is really a great diary in which each page is a story recorded in the eternity of time.
