Some people like being a part of adventures, while others simply enjoy reading about them. Eager and bright Josie Esperer prefers the latter. However, when she is given the opportunity to leave the small town of Stellenbosch, and her self-absorbed grandparents, to study at the magical school of MiaUnited, she grabs it in a heartbeat. Josie is about to find secrets best kept hidden, as well as meet people who have unknowingly shaped her life. Soon enough Josie, as well as the mysterious twins Sally and Meadow, are caught up in problems they didn't bargain on. Will Josie solve the mystery, or will her fate be one of the "not-so-happily ever after'.
