Designers and manufacturers of lighting elements founded in 1927, in 1967 Sammode invented the fluorescent tube, a multipurpose product that soon became a cult. In the 1980s-with, in particular, the lighting for the Grande Halle de la Villette and then for the BNF (National Library of France)-Sammode began a remarkable comeback in the sphere of architecture.
