Nowadays posters are everywhere: they have become an intrinsic part of our daily lives. Health warnings are displayed on bilboards; advertisements for upcoming concerts are plastered on walls; the grinning faces of political canditates are attached to streetlamps come election time; and models promoting the latest fashion collections smile down on busy shoppers in malls. No student flat would be complete without Jim Fitzpartrick's famous 'Che Guevara' picture or the 'Dark Side of the Moon' poster from Pink Floyd. With the multitude of posters around, it appears hard to find originality nowadays. Yet there is a wealth of international poster design out there, created by professionals and amateurs alike.
