Well before being discovered by the Sillage convoy, Nävis is the only human on a jungle planet, where she daydreams of making friends. One day, she crosses the path of Houyo, a young tiger-like creature, with whom she makes friends. Nävis is also assisted by a tutor-robot, who has helped her since the crash landing of the ship of which she was the only survivor. This is a story of a child in a hostile environment, full of adventure, anguish and emotions.
