'If there are so many different and contradictory 'truths' in circulation in the world today, it is because they reflect all the distortions of heart and mind of today's human beings. When people say, 'For me the truth is this.', they are talking only about their own truth, and that truth expresses their heart and mind, which may be distorted, or simply inadequate, or else very highly developed. If truth were independent of the activities of our heart and mind, we should all have discovered the same truth. But this is not the case, as you very well know: we all discover different truths. All, that is, except those who possess true love and true wisdom. Such beings have all discovered the same truth, and this is why they speak the same language.'

« ?Depuis des millénaires les humains ont essayé de comprendre l'origine du monde ainsi que l'apparition du mal (et sa conséquence, la souffrance) dans ce monde. Ils les ont souvent présentées sous forme de mythes, c'est pourquoi dans les Livres sacrés de toutes les religions, on retrouve des récits symboliques qu'il faut savoir interpréter. La tradition chrétienne a repris le récit de Moïse, dans la Genèse, où il est dit qu'au sixième jour de la Création, Dieu fit l'homme et la femme et les plaça dans le jardin d'Éden au milieu de toutes les espèces d'animaux et de plantes. Moïse nomme seulement deux arbres de ce jardin : l'Arbre de la Vie et l'Arbre de la Connaissance du Bien et du Mal dont Dieu avait interdit à Adam et Ève de manger les fruits.

« ?L'Arbre de la Vie représente l'unité de la vie, là où la polarisation ne se manifeste pas encore, c'est-à-dire où il n'y a ni bien ni mal, une région au-dessus du bien et du mal. We all possess a soul mate that we more or less consciously seek outside of ourselves.
