Résumé
Koichi Takada created his architectural firm in Sydney in 2008. At the crossroads between East and West, he has rapidly become one of the more significant new voices on the international architectural scene. His emphasis is on a connection to nature, on humanizing and naturalizing the urban environment. He has invested himself in forms of architecture that speak to local landscapes, heritage, and traditions. He is a member of a new generation that accepts and encourages a sensitive connection to surroundings and elicits an emotional response from users. Koichi Takada clearly sees a new beginning in a pos-Covi time, when naturalizing architecture will be the way forward.
