Résumé

The Museum of the Swiss Abroad is pleased to participate in the celebrations of the two hundred years of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Russia, through an exceptional exhibition. The strong and enduring diplomatic links between the two countries since 1814 will be presented through historical documents. A selection of paintings and documents will reflect the importance of immigration and the imprint of the Russian artists in Switzerland and the influence of Switzerland on their work, as it was the case for Leo Tolstoy, Alexey Jawlensky, Ilya Repin, Marianne von Verefkin, Feodor Matveev, Nikolay Dubovskoy, Gerhardt von Reutern . Exhibition organized in collaboration with the State museums and exhibitions ROSIZO and the Russian Ministry of Culture.
