Siegfried Langgaard was a Danish pianist, composer and philosopher of music. His highly pianistic style and complex harmonic ianguage can be clearly seen within this 'Romantische Phantasie', inspired by the opening passages of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid'. ---- Siegfried Langgaard war ein dänischer Pianist, Komponist und Musikphilosoph. Sein hochpianistischer Stil und seine komplexe harmonische Sprache spiegeln sich in der vorliegenden "Romantischen Phantasie' wider, die von den einleitenden Passagen des Märchens "Die kleine Seejungfrau" von Hans Christian Andersen inspiriert wurde.
