Résumé

The last thing Daisy Bell needs is Jacob Tasker landing on her doorstep without warning. He broke her heart seven years earlier, leaving her behind to pursue a successful career on the other side of the country. Bell Grove, Georgia was always too small, too ordinary for Jacob. Jacob is only home because his grandmother is very ill. She believes he and Daisy are engaged, and is busy planning their wedding. No matter how often he tells her there's no engagement, that he and Daisy are no longer together, she manages to forget. He's tired of constantly upsetting her. In order to placate an aging grandmother with severe memory issues, Jacob and Daisy pretend to be engaged. Which might work if they weren't still in love.
