The tirst monograph on Japan's most creative, experimental and visionary architect, Sou Fujimoto. Fujimoto is the youngest architect,ever to receive the highly-regarded Serpentine Pavilion commission. This timely and comprehensive monograph documents his buildings as weil as tracing the development of his ideas. Sou Fujimoto was born in Hokkaido, Japan and studied architecture at Tokyo University, before going on to establish Sou Fujimoto Architects in 2000. He has won many awards, including the 2010 Rice Design Alliance Prize, the 2009 Wal/paper* Architecture magazine Design Awards for the Best New Private House and the 2008 World Architectural Festival, Private House Category award.
