Celui-ci l'entraîne hors de la ville jusqu'à l'entrée d'un caveau et le force à descendre l'escalier qui va mener le jeune Aladin à la découverte d'un jardin plein de merveilles. L'Histoire d'Aladin ou la lampe merveilleuse est l'un des contes les plus célèbres des Mille et Une Nuits.
